Isaiah's 6th Birthday Party!

On Saturday, April 24th I threw a big party for Isaiah's 6th birthday at the Daly City Party Playhouse. Basically a jungle gym with a bounce house and slides where the kids can run around and tire themselves out. Who knew that planning a party, even for a 6-year old, would be this difficult but I was glad that it was finally coming together. The only problem I had to deal with was this grandmother who told me that she would come back in 2 hours to pick up her granddaughter. I told her I'm not responsible for her nor is the facility. This was not a childcare or daycare center. Besides that, the party went well and all the kids enjoyed it and had a great time, which is all that really matters.

After about an hour in the jungle gym, it was time for pizza and cake, plus arcade games aftewards.

We'll have another party for sure next year.

Support for Falling Seniors on the Bus

Apparently, for some reason I’ve become support for falling seniors on the bus.

I was riding the bus on my way home from work. The bus is crowded with filled seats, so I held on to the bar. The ride starts to get bumpy. A senior, maybe in her 40s or 50s, to prevent herself from falling, tried to grab my arm for support, but instead pinched me hella hard. I made a motion, “Owww”.

At least I can say I assisted a senior from falling, even though it was involuntary.
